Bio
I am a 26 year old multimedia artist, writer, and faith-practicer. My pronouns are she/her. I identify as Muslim, as a woman, as queer, and am ethnically Bambara, Soninke, and Fulani. I have lived in a section of unceded Lenapehoking territory, colonially known as New York City, all my life.
I would describe myself as passionate, silly, analytical, introspective, brave, imaginative, patient, outspoken, and poetic with a big heart. I love Allah, the ocean, sun, moon, and clouds, learning, singing, painting, ice-skating, designing, archiving, sentimental music, note-taking apps, and feeling a positive change in the works.
I want to learn more about history, psychology, liberation movements, healing, programming, music theory, architecture, art, and digital security. I just started reading ‘Trinity of Fundamentals’ by Wisam Rafeedie. My favorite song at the moment is ‘River’ by Leon Bridges.
